Blog Outline Generator
AI builds a topic-specific outline with real section titles, word count targets, and SEO notes — not generic placeholders.
H1 / H2 / H3 structure
Your H1 is the page title — one per page, contains your primary keyword. H2s are your main sections — each targets a related subtopic or question. H3s break down H2 sections into smaller points. Google reads this hierarchy to understand your content's structure and relevance.
Target one intent per section
Each H2 should answer one specific question or cover one specific subtopic. Don't mix "what is X" with "how to do X" in the same section. Clear, focused sections are more likely to win featured snippets and People Also Ask placements.
Word count per section
The word count estimates help you plan content depth. Introduction sections typically need 150–300 words. Core technique sections: 300–500 words each. FAQ sections: 50–100 words per question-answer pair. Don't pad — hit the target by adding examples, not filler.
Featured snippet optimization
Sections that define something ("What is X?") are prime featured snippet targets. Format the answer as: a direct 40–60 word paragraph immediately after the H2, OR as a numbered/bulleted list. Google often pulls the first clear answer after a heading for the snippet box.
Internal linking opportunities
Each H2 section that covers a subtopic in depth is also an opportunity to link to a dedicated article on that subtopic. Use the outline to identify gaps in your content library — sections where you don't have a dedicated page yet are your next content ideas.
Using the outline as a brief
Copy this outline into a Google Doc and share it as a content brief for a writer or VA. Add notes on tone, examples you want included, and links to competitors. A good brief produces better first drafts and reduces revision rounds significantly.
