How do I check my Google keyword ranking?
Enter your domain and the exact keyword you want to track, choose the country (and device, if needed) where your audience searches, then click Check ranking. We search Google for that term and look through the top 100 results to find your domain's position.
What is a keyword rank checker?
A keyword rank checker shows where a website appears in Google's search results for a specific search term — its "position." Position 1 means top of page 1; position 11 means top of page 2, and so on. It's the fastest way to see if your SEO work is actually moving the needle.
How often should I check my keyword rankings?
For most sites, once a week is plenty. Google rankings fluctuate day to day even with no changes on your end, so daily checking mostly just shows noise. Weekly (or after you publish/update content) gives you a clearer picture of real movement.
Can I check any domain, or only my own?
Any domain. This is useful for checking your own site, but also for seeing where competitors rank for the same keyword — handy when you're deciding which keywords are realistic targets.
Why is my rank different from what I see in my browser?
Google personalizes results based on your location, search history, and device. This tool queries Google directly for a chosen country and device without that personalization, so it reflects a more "average searcher" view — which is usually more useful for tracking real SEO progress than your own browser.
Is this keyword rank checker free?
No Key For Riches account is required. The tool uses your own SearchAPI.io account, which receives 100 free requests once at signup; each rank check uses one request. Continued use after those requests requires a SearchAPI.io plan.
